Farewell to Bishop Trevor

We have always enjoyed Bishop Trevor’s visits to the benefice during the 9 years of his time as Bishop of Dover. He has been here to licence new clergy, for confirmation services, Mim Oliver’s licencing as Youth and Families Worker as well as taking part in many other special services and events. In addition to this, he has been a regular visitor at all of our church schools in the benefice. We have all benefited from his warmth and encouragement. Now it is time to say goodbye to him as he and his wife Margaret begin their retirement. There will be a Diocesan Farewell on Saturday May 11th after Evensong in the Cathedral which begins at 4pm. All are very welcome. If you would like to make a financial gift to thank Bishop Trevor and Margaret for their ministry, you can contribute to their retirement collection Please send cheques payable to ‘CDBF – Bishop Trevor Farewell’ to the Finance Team at Diocesan House, Lady Wootton’s Green, Canterbury CT1 1NQ.
