Egerton Churchyard Map from The God’s Acre Project in Egerton Kent

To celebrate the churchyard week this year there will be a number of evening talks and churchyard walks led by Kath Hilder, Steve Kirk and Dick Stoodley,and there will be visits from each class of Egerton school for quizzes and educational games etc, and Egerton Art Group will be painting and drawing in the churchyard.

The public programme thus far is as follows:

• Mon 16th July 7pm:`History of the War Memorial and other interesting
  gravestones` led by Dick Stoodley and Steve Kirk
• Weds 18th July 7pm:`Wildlife and ecology of our churchyard` led by Steve Kirk
• Thurs July 19th 10am-12: Egerton Art Group visit : all welcome to come and see
  what they are doing- why not bring your paints as well!
