Sample the delights of traditional English cream teas between 2.30pm to 5pm on Sunday afternoons in Pluckley for the rest of the Summer, and on into the early Autumn in Charing.
Pluckley hosts cream teas until Sunday 28th of August, with a last cream tea afternoon on Bank Holiday Monday the 29th. At Charing the cream teas continue until Sunday 2nd October.
At Pluckley you can enjoy homemade cakes, scones, and jam in the flower filled environs of St Nicholas’ Churchyard (or inside if it’s wet or windy). At Charing the same homemade delights are available on the pleasant lawn surrounded by shrubs outside the Church Barn (if it’s sunny) or inside the barn if you prefer.
Cream teas are also available 2.30pm to 5pm on Bank Holiday Monday (29th August) at Pluckley.
All money raised goes to the respective Churches.
